WHERE TO FIND US:
Great Woods Park is located only 30 minutes from Winnipeg, Manitoba, north on Highway # 59, east on Highway # 44, at the junction of Highway # 44 and Highway # 12 North, continue 1 mile east.
CAMPING INFORMATION:
Great Woods Park offers a large, private, wooded campground featuring:
- Serviced sites (30amp with water) @ $27.00 per night plus GST
River Serviced Sites @$34.00 per night plus GST - River Non-serviced sites @$29.00 per night plus GST-Non-serviced sites @ $24.00 per night plus GST
- Rates are based on 4 people or less per site. Additional persons are $7.00 per night plus GST
- Full payment is required at the time of reserving campsites (minimum 3 nights).
- Rustic camping is a large grass area within the park and can be reserved for one or more nights at a cost of $7.00 per person per night plus GST.
Picnic tables are limited. Book early.
FESTIVAL INFORMATION:
Our festival is presented on two stages; one in the Moonrise Cabana, and the other stage, the Star Dome is situated outside which makes the Great Woods Music Festival a rain or shine event (no refunds). Great Woods Park offers acres of spacious groomed lawns and many shade trees giving the audience room to relax and really enjoy the music. Don't forget to visit our “CD CORNER STORE” featuring a wide selection of music from the performers playing the festival. Those performers will be manning an “Autograph Table”, located near the stage after their performance so you can get those discs signed.
We do ask that no video or audio recordings are made of the show. Bring a low back, “festival chair”, with you or buy one at the “Blues Store”. Be a friend to the park and use the provided trashcans. Don't forget to pinch and pocket or use the ashtrays if you're a smoker.
The festival area is a licensed venue with other drink and food vendors. No glass, cans or alcoholic beverages permitted on festival grounds, only at your campsite. All coolers and bags will be checked by security at festival entrance.
